This is an entry for a contest where you had to use words from a word bank. Underlined words are from the word bank, although they add texture to the piece. Twisters are not symmetrical, so I went for the odd shape♫♪
Twistwhim
Sunny, started out.
Darkened, I smartly shout,
“Hail, all ye who are gathered,
Wild clouds may turn to
twister!
Swift! Seek shelter!
Be not victims of Joplin-like disaster!”
But nay, the herd of clouds, corralled,
Ascended, lariated,
and squalled.
Then, blown
windswept by nature’s valve, dissolved.
Collectively,
We breathed reliefs…
All’s at
Peace
!!!
Reminds me of my posts on Joplin and Branson after the tornados! Thanks for the visit to my Rock4Today blog!
