10 Shades of White

Martha Stewart inspired me to write about shades of white and the resulting instrumental ♫♪
Find it about three quarters the way down on my song list...http://lkazmierczak.biz/songs

10 Shades of White

I have counted ten shades of white, I’ll have you know.
But there’s only the one true, blue love.
You may find there’s more than the ten that I adore.
But don’t paint me all wrong about true love.
Blue love.
Eggshell and there’s diamond, then there’s starlight and vanilla.
Add on linen and there’s moon glow, then there’s ecru and the oyster and pearl so white.
And there’s snow.
You have been my true love since I laid eyes on you.
But you always see things out of focus.
Clearly I must find how to open up your mind
So that you don’t just see me as shadow.
An echo.
Ten shades you can choose from, but all you see is the pure white, so white
But for my eyes, I see all shades that can fashion into passion.
Cause there’s
Eggshell and there’s diamond, then there’s starlight and vanilla.
Add on linen and there’s moon glow, then there’s ecru and the oyster and pearl so white.
And there’s snow…

Shades of white recall
An old fashioned type love
And I’ve fallen for you
Ever softly like snow
O come enter and prove
You are old fashioned too
Say that you do approve
Of my choices of white...

Eggshell and there’s diamond, then there’s starlight and vanilla.
Add on linen and there’s moon glow, then there’s ecru and the oyster and pearl so white.
And there’s snow….My love is aglow.

This is not one of the poems included in my book.
