Bowling Ball Blues

In honor of husband John’s first 300 game of bowling!  (March 15 2012)
I did a quick arrangement of a fun echo-type song…check it out:

Bowling Ball Blues

I’ve got the bowling ball blues.
(I’ve got the bowling ball blues.)
I just cannot get a strike.
(I just cannot get a strike.)
I bought these white leather shoes.
(I bought these white leather shoes.)
I paid a mighty fine price.
(I paid a mighty fine price.)

Refrain:
Come on now, roll like thunder,
Drop those pins asunder.
Cure my bowling ball blues
(Bowling ball blues)

I’ve got the bowling ball blues.
(I’ve got the bowling ball blues.)
Now all I want is a spare.
(Now all I want is a spare.)
But all I get is bad news.
(But all I get is bad news.)
I’m always off by a hair.
(I’m always off by a hair.)

Refrain

I’ve got the bowling ball blues.
(I’ve got the bowling ball blues.)
I gotta mark one more time.
(I gotta mark one more time.)
I cannot let my team lose.
(I cannot let my team lose.)
I finally found a good line.
(I finally found a good line.)

Refrain
